Fix Blue Badges
Blue badges must be more accessible for people with Parkinson's. Join the fight to make sure that the government fixes the broken Blue Badge system.
We're holding an event in Parliament on 28 October 2026 for MPs to hear about the inequity across England in accessing Blue Badges. After sending FOI requests to every issuing authority in the UK we're calling for:

Applications to be processed in a reasonable time

For Councils to STOP reassessing blue badges for people with incurable progressive conditions

For consistent high quality training for all Blue Badge assessors across England, so they understand what they are assessing

Regular reports and transparency on application processing times and blue badge referrals
We'll be bringing MPs and people with Parkinson's together. We need MPs to understand the importance of blue badges, and the injustice of the current system.
They'll be able to see a visualisation of how issuing authorities in their area are doing, so they can join you in pushing for change with your local council.
