The Parky Charter in Parliament

Over 20,000 people told us that they supported the Parky Charter. A plan by the Movers and Shakers podcast to improve life for people with Parkinson's.

Will you write to your MP and ask them to support the Parky Charter? They can do this through support for the Charter publicly; letting us know which areas of the Charter interest them so that we can discuss how they can help more; or simply by asking for a debate in Parliament.

Fill in the form below to be taken to an email to ask your MP for help.

The Movers and Shakers are determined that this new government will take action to provide access to:

  • Speedy Specialists: better, faster referrals to neurologists and geriatricians, with regular check ins
  • Instant information: the best, detailed, locally relevant info should be given to all newly diagnosed patients
  • Parkinson's Passport: better access to financial support and other things like blue badges and railcards
  • Comprehensive Care: access to a full range of healthcare professionals including physiotherapists, speech therapists and more.
  • Quest for a cure: a commitment to increasing funding to find a cure for Parkinson's

Parkinson's UK supports the principles of this charter. Help us make sure that this government delivers for people with Parkinson's.
