Background
The government has paid Cost of Living Payments and brought in the Energy Price Guarantee, but this is nowhere near enough to keep people with Parkinson’s well.
Living in a cold home means people with Parkinson’s are more likely to experience muscle stiffness, rigidity and pain.
If people with the condition aren’t able to move around, they aren’t able to manage their symptoms.
Which is why we need more support for households with a person with Parkinson’s.
Please write to your MP and ask them to urge the Chancellor to boost the Energy Bills Support Scheme for people living with the condition.
